Position Summary: The Communication and Production Manager, Bridge City Church BCC), will possess gifting and experience in live production. The manager will also display a passion to see their own gifts and others' gifts used in the local church. They will demonstrate an interest in the planning of services, practice implementing and learning new technologies, and developing creative new elements for the worship service.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Participate in planning services
  • Plan services collaboratively with staff members and pastor(s)
  • Demonstrate initiative in developing and contributing creative ideas that progresses BCC toward visual and auditory elements that fit the urban, multicultural, and liturgical expression of faith
  • Manage and oversee the live production services and events.
  • Lead the setup of AV equipment prior to sound checks
  • Coordinate, recruit and schedule team members for these departments:
    • Audio
    • Screens
    • Videography & Photography
    • Lighting
    • Setup and Teardown
  • Assist in the editing and uploading of online content for BCC and/or approved media outlets to include but not limited to: sermons, special moments, video announcements, and photography.



Required Skills and Abilities:

  • A willingness to serve the Lord in an urban environment
  • Evidence of desire to lead a Christ centered life and participation in the life of the local church
  • Possess good oral and written communication skills
  • Possess computer skills including word processing, the Microsoft Office suite, Google Docs, and the ability to learn new programs as they are initiated
  • Possess a solid foundation in video production and online video and audio communications
  • Be detailed oriented, accurate in planning, trustworthy in completing assignments
  • Be able to recruit, train, and supervise teams for AV supports and hardware setup and teardown
  • Satisfactory background check required for all positions



Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience:

  • High School or GED equivalency
  • Post High School education a plus but not required


Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Physically able to manage the setup of AV production equipment
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Valid Driver's License
