Good Shepherd is a small, intergenerational congregation that is seeking to grow through connecting in collaborative ways with the communities that surround us, as well as through offering more dynamic worship experiences that include both traditional and [theologically progressive] contemporary music, art, and drama. We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic music director who will work part time with our pastors and the worship team to lead our music program.
This position is part time (8-10 hrs./week), with seasonal adjustments, totaling an $8,500 annual salary.

Requirements
- Training of experience directing choirs.
- General ,knowledge of traditional place of music in liturgy while able to bring new forms of music into the worship experience.
- Punctual and faithful to commitments for worship and rehearsals.
Duties
- Direct the choir and chimes groups, including selecting the music each group will rehearse and perform in worship.
- Schedule song leaders for each week's service
- Attend all services, including occasional evening services/functions as needed.
- Attend monthly worship team meeting.
- Collaborate with pastor, accompanists, as well as musicians.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
When either or both of the two counties that the church serves are red, K-94 or K95 masks are required. When they are yellow, masks are required but can be masks of choice, and when they are yellow, masks are optional.
