About the Advancement Department: Catholic Charities Advancement Department communicates and sustains the organization's good works. We are a creative, agile team that serves a diverse system of programs across the eight-county region of the Diocese of Cleveland. We seek a competent Grant Management Specialist to assist in the implementation, research, coordination, and grant management related to Catholic Charities' new and existing services and initiatives. In this role, you will support site leadership concerning grant requirements, gather statistics, budgets, and data for donors and funders, and engage in community outreach to foster community awareness. This position is based out of our Cleveland location but can be remote.

What you will do:
Translate complicated ideas into effective proposals. You are a versatile and inspiring writer with strong business acumen, solid writing experience, and a passion for mission-based work. You have a unique ability to understand complex programs and needs and craft strategic messages that resonate with the mission of funding organizations.
Manage multiple projects and work with a diverse network throughout our system. You’re resourceful and at ease with ambiguity and rapid change. You possess a positive, can-do attitude and are adept at identifying creative solutions to obstacles. You can juggle many essential responsibilities at once, and you’re rigorous about prioritizing.
Use data to tell our stories of success. You can utilize various data points to describe our programs' impact on those we serve. You design and generate reports that allow leadership to make data-informed strategic decisions.

Bachelors or better in Journalism or related field
