Responsibilities:

  • Under direction, ensure that the activities of this position and relevant programs are consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland.
  • Establish and implement policies, rules, practices, methods and standards for payroll.
  • Review and reconcile payroll.
  • Collaborate within the department or with other locations to resolve any discrepancies.
  • Make appropriate corrections to journal entries.
  • Calculate and post employee earnings, including overtime, sick, vacation, and pay.
  • Time card verification and reports, attendance reports, etc.
  • Process all changes in employee payroll.
  • Calculate and post all required and voluntary pay deductions such as garnishments, group health, life, 401(k), disability, United Way, State, local and federal taxes, and worker’s compensation; process and balance.
  • Process requests for payment of these obligations.

Experience*
Required

  • Do you have prior payroll processing work experience

Preferred

  • Previous UKG (Ultimate Software) ABRA exposure a plus.

Education
Preferred

  • Bachelors or better in Business Administration or related field
  • Bachelors or better in Accounting or related field
