All Saints School is looking for an energetic, nurturing Preschool Teacher to join our team! All Saints School is a community of faith, committed to providing a strong educational and religious foundation for our students. The preferred Preschool Teacher is one who inspires children to be faith-filled, life-long learners. We are looking for a teacher who is committed to creating meaningful relationships with their students, the families and the All Saints School community. This position will focus on Pre3 and Pre4 students.
Our Teachers:
- Help children build their social skills; encourage children to interact with each other to develop social skills
- Keep the classroom clean and safe for students, parents, and teachers; follow all health/safety and sanitation procedures
- Establish and enforce rules of behavior for children in the classrooms
- Use tools and resources for children to explore and learn both in the classroom and outside
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of children
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and parents
- Manage classroom activities including lessons, play, breaks and meals
- Track children’s’ progress and report to parents
- Collaborate with others to develop and implement lesson plans
- Provide appropriate supervision for children at all times
- Assist in maintaining inventory system for classroom materials and supplies
- Facilitate various activities for children including songs, games and storytelling
- Supervise the preschool aide, including instructions on activities for children and monitoring the classroom
Qualifications for this Position:
- CDA, Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education required for Preschool Teacher roles
- Must pass FBI/BCI background checks and successfully complete Virtus Training (provided by school)
- Able to develop effective relationships and communications with children, parents, and faculty
- Works productively without supervision
- Shows empathy and compassion for young children
- Is dependable, adaptable and enjoys working together toward a common goal
Time of work: Classes for these grades are Mondays through Friday 7 am to 2:45 pm MWF (Pre-4) and 7:00 am – 12:45 pm on T-TH (Pre3). Teacher also will have meetings with parents; prepare for and attend various functions involving the students.
Compensation and Benefits: Compensation commensurate with skills (exempt); health care benefits and pension through Diocese programs
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $15.75 per hour
