Program Statement:
At St. Martin de Porres Family Center, we provide an array of services for early childhood development home visitation programs, older adults, after-school and teen leadership programming, community-based services for at-risk children and families, food pantry, home-delivered meals, and emergency assistance. St. Martin de Porres is located in the heart of the Glenville community and takes pride in meeting the needs of the residence we serve through service coordination and empowering them to be self sufficient.
What you will do:
In this position you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day program operations, plan and coordinate activities and programs in conjunction with staff and program participants, manage and oversee program budgets, complete reports, recruit, hire, and train staff and volunteers, provide supervision to program staff and/or volunteers that includes training and coaching as needed, develop a community outreach recruitment plan to promote our senior center throughout the community, ensure program operates at full capacity, create and developing vital community partnerships, work with our funders and other community partners to ensure we are meeting funder requirements and the needs of the community, resolve clients issues, and other duties as needed to ensure center operations are met.

Experience
Required

  • 2 year(s): Must have at least two years experience working with older adults, persons with disabilities, and or specialized populations in vulnerable neighborhoods.

Education
Required

  • Bachelors or better in Social Work or related field

  • Masters or better in Social Work or related field
