Craig Lawrence was grew up in a non-Christian world in La Verne, CA. He gave his life to Jesus in Okinawa, Japan while serving in the U.S. Marine Corps, but walked away from the Lord after returning to the U.S. Four years later, he rededicated his life to Jesus and began serving in the youth ministry at the Pomona Assembly of God, assisting the Youth Pastor. Craig was invited to be the Youth Pastor in Morro Bay, The youth ministry had no kids, no income, and was located in a retirement community. Despite the odds, Craig grew a solid youth group while also meeting the love of his life, Christine. They moved to her hometown of Santa Maria and Craig began serving as a part-time young adults singles pastor. He then was promoted to full-time staff as the high school pastor. A few years later, he was promoted within the Foursquare District to Western District Youth Director. In this position, he would lead, mobilize, and organize Youth Camps by bringing thousands of youth together to experience God. During this time, he would also have heavy influence with several Senior Pastors by being a traveling guest speaker. In doing so, he regularly equipped congregations to hear God’s voice by leading prophetic training seminars. In 1998, after four years, Craig and Christine moved back to his hometown, La Verne, CA to pastor a 30 member congregation at Newlife Community Church. In 2005, the church grew out of the facility in La Verne and moved to Pomona, where he continues to serve as Senior Pastor.
