NDA is looking for potential future teachers interested in working with mentor teachers to help students learn and grow. This position involves working in the classroom with small group instruction, intervention programs and supervision. During the upcoming school year, this instructional aide would be expected to be on campus working with the students/teachers in both the 3rd and 4th grade classrooms. Working as an instructional aide is a great way to learn about the field of education from very talented teachers to grow professionally and personally. Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience in working with children in a school environment.
Experience working with younger students in grades 1-4
Interest in becoming a teacher and either enrolled in an education program or in school to go into an education program.
Strong communication, technology and planning skills.
Flexible, adaptable, organized, and strong time management skills
Can work both independently and interdependently and demonstrates strong collaboration skills
Willingness to complete other duties as assigned
