Job Description: Administrative Assistant to the Pastors GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The Administrative Assistant to the Pastors performs a variety of secretarial and administrative duties for The Pastors. Performs duties of a highly confidential nature, interpreting policies, and maintaining computer-based and paper files. Produces reports as requested. Answers related office inquiries and performs special projects of a moderate to highly skilled nature.

1. Manage projects from beginning to end that has been delegated by the Senior Pastor and Director of Ministry Operations.

2. Follow-up with Senior Pastor and department leaders on reports and information as needed.

3. Provide timely status reports as needed to other staff and ministry leaders on projects.

4. Maintain an accurate filing system.

5. Keep account of all supporting documentation.

6. Type all correspondence as assigned.

7. Copy and compile reports, presentations, and other exhibits as needed.

8. Copy and compile presentations for distribution to ministry leaders.

9. Manage phone calls for Senior Pastor.

10. Keeps office area neat and organized.

11. Maintain confidentiality in all areas.

12. Available for evening meetings for key administrative committees, as needed.

ACCOUNTABILITY:

1. Reports to the Senior Pastor.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

1. Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

2. Take and transcribe dictation.

3. Business English, including vocabulary, correct grammatical usage, and punctuation.

4. Verbal and Written Communication Skills, Professionalism, and Ability to Handle Emergency Situations.
