Full Job Description
- Edit parish bulletin
- Monitor and update Parish Data System (PDS)
- Manage Facility Calendar, maintaining updated schedule in communication with those involved in the events (presider, deacon, other staff support, etc.)
- Monitor and update files for upcoming sacraments, quinceañeras, and funerals
- Monitor and update sacramental records
- Prepare and manage outgoing mail
- Answer all incoming communication and redirect them when needed
- Monitor and order office supplies when needed
- Greet, communicate with and welcome guests in person and on the phone
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Publisher and Excel)
- Minimum one year of office receptionist experience or similar role
- Hands on experience with office equipment (for example computers, printer, phones, etc.)
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Team player-must be willing to work Sundays
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- High School diploma
