Weekend Worship Services
- Program preparation
- Setting up and tearing down the rooms used
- Ensure enough volunteer leaders are staffed for each weekend
- Prepare and deliver messages each week
- Create an environment each week that provides connection time, worship time, avenues for visitors to attend, and helps students engage and take next steps in their spiritual journey
- Build teams of adult leaders and student leaders to help with the development and execution of the weekend experience
Small Groups
- Program preparation, student development, and working with host homes to ensure that students small groups are offered during the school year
- Build life group leaders and gender-specific adult leaders to help, encourage, and develop students in their faith
Connection Events
- Provide, coordinate, and facilitate a monthly connection event to build stronger relationships outside of the weekend and mid-week small group experience
- Provide the opportunity for students to bring their un-churched friends
WHAT YOU HAVE DONE:
- Prior experience in student ministries
- A Bachelor's Degree is highly desirable, or equivalent ministry experience
WHO YOU ARE:
- Strong attention to details
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Able to multitask and extremely organized to handle multiple and shifting priorities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lead, direct, coordinate, organize, and follow through
Saddleback Church's pay philosophy is based on internal and external data for pay equity, along with budgetary considerations for effective stewardship. Pay will be provided at a range of $25 - $26.25 per hour. We will provide a pay rate that is within our salary structure and that fits a candidate's qualifications and experience for the job.
