The Archdiocese of Los Angeles proudly serves three counties in the Greater Los Angeles Region; Los Angeles County, Santa Barbara County and Ventura County. The Catholic tradition of education in the United States can be traced back into the 1600’s. The Archdiocese of Los Angeles is proud to have begun its Catholic schools program by the 1850’s. Requirements

We recruit prospective full-time, part-time and substitute teachers for the Catholic Schools of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles who have a Bachelor’s degree in education or a field related to the subject they hope to teach. The degree must be from an accredited college or university. Preference is given to: Practicing Roman Catholics; Candidates with California teaching credential; and those with a Master’s degree in education or their chosen field.
