Job Responsibilities and Duties
Develop and execute teaching strategies and assessments in line with a project-based learning framework.
Work with students with varying learning needs.
Collaborate with other teachers and administrators through effective, timely, and pertinent communication.
Advocate for students’ needs to teachers and administrators.
Contribute to the school and classroom community
Job Skills and Qualifications
Ability to teach chemistry at either the honors or non-honors level
Familiarity with project-based learning is preferred but not required
Willingness to learn common educational technology
The ability to teach biochemistry is preferred but not required
Requirements
Minimum requirement – BA degree
Special consideration will be given to applicants with an advanced degree in education or in the subject matter field
