Full Job Description
Day care teacher needed for after-school daycare program. Teacher for TK-8th grade students (4-14 years old) needed to assist students with homework, and to play indoor and outdoor games. This position is approximately 3 hours per day (5 1/2 hours on Fridays). The position also includes (if desired) a guaranteed full-time summer position for Nativity’s summer camp!
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Reliable, organized and enthusiastic disposition
- Prior experience in child supervision/camp experience/day care experience preferred
- Must have good communication skills
- Maintains a professional and courteous attitude at all times with a team-player mentality
- Maintains a clean and safe working environment for students and colleagues
- Supervise students at all times
- Supervises indoor and outdoor playtimes
- Ensures that students are properly signed in and out of the program, and released only to authorized parents or guardians
- Maintains strict confidentiality regarding student information and behavior in Bobcat
- A practicing Catholic is preferred
- VIRTUS Certification (Can be obtained through school)
