CSHM High School, a coeducational High School located in Montebello, is looking for an AP English/Film Teacher for the 2021-2022 school year. We are hoping to find a candidate who is passionate about teaching and inspiring young minds. Candidates with teaching experience in both English and Film are preferred. The ideal candidate would also have experience in film editing. Additional responsibilities include: communicating with parents and the administration regarding student progress, creating dynamic lesson plans which take into account a variety of learning styles, using a variety of assessment methods to gauge student achievement, using an online gradebook on a weekly basis, supervising students outside of the classroom, performing other reasonable duties as assigned by the Principal.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Education: Bachelor’s degree (required) in English or similar course of study •Experience: At least two years of experience as a English teacher DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Master’s Degree in English or Film • Single Subject Credential in English, • Bilingual speaking abilities (Spanish).
