Kid’s Min Coordinator will be under the supervision of the Pastor and work in cooperation with the Discipleship Committee consisting of Discipleship Elder and volunteers

RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee Kid’s Min, ages toddler to 5thGrade, to ensure a smooth, safe and effective program
Create an environment where children are welcomed and shepherded
Provide children with an age-appropriate program to learn and interact with God
Deliver lessons for children ages toddler to 5thgrade in weekly worship or in class
Spiritually nurture children’s mind, heart, and soul
Coordinate volunteers and ensure they are properly screened
Select curriculum that will help grow children’s faith
Have good communications skills with all parents/guardians
Lead annual Vacation Bible School
Attend staff meetings as requested by Pastor/Head of Staff

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum three years of experience in Children’s Ministry (Paid or Volunteer)
Associate degree or equivalent work experience
Seminary training is not required but a plus
Comfortable with technology and willing to learn church computer applications and databases

JOB TYPE: Part-time (up to 10 hours a week)

PAY: $23 - $25 per hour (based on experience)
