Media Production Manager

Good Shepherd is moving forward in faith as we step UP to God in worship; IN to discipleship with one another; and OUT in service to the world around us. We are looking for an energetic Media Production Manager to move our congregation forward.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The selected candidate will invite everyone into life in God’s family by providing multimedia communications service with current and up to date multimedia equipment for Church programs, by supporting weekly worship services, music events, educational activities, and other special events or activities.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare slides and multimedia communication for Church services, based on information from Staff, including creation, design, and compilation of information as needed
  • Develop and maintain working knowledge of hardware and software components necessary for hybrid in-person and streaming options, including but not limited to soundboard, ProPresenter, Stream Spot, Church Online, and Vimeo
  • Develop and implement an overall strategy for delivery of multimedia services
  • Oversee and operate streaming and multimedia systems, providing transparent support to worship services and other Church activities, including work with Pastors, Staff, and volunteers
  • Recruit and train volunteer and paid staff to operate various Church streaming and multimedia systems
  • Provide pre-purchase evaluation of audiovisual and multimedia equipment and systems
  • Maintain all multimedia equipment and systems
  • Additional duties could include:
  • Prepare communication materials including print and electronic newsletters and announcements, telephone contacts, GSPC.org website, and social media
  • Working knowledge and skill for graphic design

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven ability to create, design and compile information for presentation
  • Good working knowledge of music production, performance and/or theory
  • 3-5 years experience in media production (video, audio, graphics, etc.), media and event staging, audiovisual systems integration and operation, and minor audiovisual systems maintenance
  • High school diploma with college preferred
  • 3-5 years experience in graphic communication and media preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
