St. Rose of Lima Catholic School is located in the city of Maywood. We are a seeking teachers for multiple grades for the new 2022-2023 school year as well as a middle school religion teacher.
The hired teacher will be able to implement the following in the classroom:
- Teach meaningful lessons that implement strategies, methodology, create rubrics, and apply other methods. Teacher will be able to apply school-wide practices and individualized methods to engage students in the classroom. This includes religion.
- Be able to communicate constantly and effectively with parents and principal. Develop and maintain positive, strong classroom culture. Create and maintain strong relationships with parents, students, parish, and principal. Communicate with respect to students, parents, faculty, staff, principal, and parish staff.
- Teacher needs to be able to have classroom management in class as well as in church when attending school mass. Teacher needs to be able to create, implement, and sustain a classroom environment that enables learning. The teacher will also be able to ensure smooth operation of all classroom instructional functions without excuses or exceptions as well as by enforcing school-wide rules and expectations.
Requirements
- B.A in education
- Teaching experience desired.
- Clear knowledge on Common Core State Standards
