As Our Lady of Guadalupe in Hermosa Beach Parish community grows in the process of New Evangelization and making disciples, we are excited to add a new member to our Evangelization and Faith Formation team. We are looking for a motivated disciple who is interested in walking alongside families seeking to grow in their faith and become lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ with a special focus on elementary to high school age youth.
Our current team operates in a friendly, flexible, and exciting working environment, and is seeking to add a faithful member to collaborate on retreats, faith formation sessions, mission work, and much more.
Requirements
Qualified candidates should be called by God and willing to work as a team member and feel a real passion for helping others discover, follow, and share Jesus Christ. A background in religious education, family ministry, youth ministry, other related fields, and bilingual (Spanish and English) is helpful, but God’s call and anointing is the most necessary.
This is an hourly position and can be filled on a part-time or full-time basis. The ministry position does require working some evenings and on weekends, with some flexibility in schedule coordination with other team members.
