The communities of Christ Church, both on Park Avenue and in the Heights are excited about this new season of 'Conversations on Race". We are collaborating with St. Philip's Episcopal Church for this program year. As a historically African American spiritual community, St. Philip's Church is the first African American Episcopal Church in New York State and the second oldest in the nation. Last program year, our book study delved into many areas on race and race relations in America. As we begin this new season, we will read the works of novelists, activists, and cultural anthropologists such as Zora Neale Hurston, James Baldwin, and Alice Walker. All are welcome!
