Administrative Assistant for the Office of Leadership and Recruitment
Primary Responsibility:
Provide Administrative Support to the Associate Superintendent for Leadership and Recruitment
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Associate Superintendent in managing all clerical and administrative duties
of the office
- Prepare information for and coordinate meetings for the Associate Superintendent
- Coordinate appointments and calendars and arrange logistics (including Zoom links and invites)
- Attend various meetings corresponding to professional development with principals
- Oversee, facilitate, and manage all communications (electronic/paper), and prepare correspondence on behalf of the Associate Superintendent
- Maintain all current records (electronic/paper)
- Post administrative/teacher vacancies in various media sites and Applicant Pro
- Work with other DOE staff members on projects related to Leadership and Recruitment
- Conduct research and collect data on projects relating to Leadership and Recruitment particularly principal professional development component
- Create excel spreadsheets for various projects
- Serve as the lead contact for all annual School Leader and Curran Program related events, particularly communicating with venue site team, soliciting vendor participation, and placement of achievement award orders
- Submit monthly expense reports for Associate Superintendent
- Serve as support staff to the Superintendent of Schools office team as needed
- Other special projects and duties as assigned by the Superintendent of Schools

Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Two years similar work experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Google Docs, and Publisher
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to take direction and work independently to manage various tasks without supervision
