Saint Elizabeth School is seeking a creative after-school counselors interested in working with small groups of students from 3:00 to 6:00 in our After School Enrichment Programs. The ideal candidate is a hard-working, team-oriented educator passionate about helping students succeed academically!
Counselors will work with a group of 10-12 students, support completion of homework, and lead 2 activities each day.
Job Requirements:
- A love for school, working with children and developing creative activities
- Background and experience in education, child services or student support
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing engaging activities for kids
- Maintain a professional appearance and a positive rapport with parents, colleagues and school administration.
- Learn and implement emergency evacuation plans for the classrooms assigned, procedures for referring students who are disciplinary problems, etc.
Job Type: Part-time
