The Benefits Coordinator will be responsible for providing public benefits support to the Refugee Support Services program, which includes but is not limited to the following duties:
- Determining client eligibility for public benefits
- Assisting clients with benefit application process
- Liaising with county social service offices to facilitate application process
- Following up with clients regarding appointments and outstanding information
- Updating client files with benefit communication, application, approval, and renewal information
- Working with county offices to address benefit denials
- Participating in and contributing to team meetings
- Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor
Job Requirements:
- This position requires a high school diploma/GED.
- Fluency in Spanish or Haitian Creole is required.
Bachelor's degree preferred. Previous experience working in a non-profit or government setting is preferred but not required.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year
