The Benefits Coordinator will be responsible for providing public benefits support to the Refugee Support Services program, which includes but is not limited to the following duties:

  • Determining client eligibility for public benefits
  • Assisting clients with benefit application process
  • Liaising with county social service offices to facilitate application process
  • Following up with clients regarding appointments and outstanding information
  • Updating client files with benefit communication, application, approval, and renewal information
  • Working with county offices to address benefit denials
  • Participating in and contributing to team meetings
  • Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor

Job Requirements:

  • This position requires a high school diploma/GED.
  • Fluency in Spanish or Haitian Creole is required.

Bachelor's degree preferred. Previous experience working in a non-profit or government setting is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year
