CHILD CARE ASSISTANT SUPERVISOR
$19 per hour
Part-time - Monday - Friday, 20 -35 hours depending on the program location
Responsibilities
Assisting in ensuring the delivery of a quality before and/or afterschool program that complies with all NJ Office of Licensing and Child Care Division requirements
Assist in supervising staff in a supportive and professionally developmental manner
Encourage personal growth and character development in children while strengthening their social, academic and physical skills
Maintain positive relationships through effective communication with children, parents, staff, supervisor and host school principal and staff
Attend staff meetings, supervision and professional development trainings
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent, Associates Degree or CDA certification preferred and 1 year experience working with children a must
Supervisory experience is a plus
