Saint Peter's is a welcoming and progressive church, a sanctuary congregation, and a Reconciling in Christ parish of the ELCA. Nevelson Chapel is a vibrant artistic installation at Saint Peter’s Church, currently undergoing a capital campaign to care for its renewal.

 

This role interfaces with both Saint Peter’s Church and Nevelson Chapel fundraising teams to facilitate timely and gracious acknowledgment of our community’s support. A key function of this role is keeping accurate and detailed records of donations and interactions with donors.

 

Commitment: 10 hours per week of hybrid work

 

Reporting to: Director of Administration and Development

 

Responsibilities:

  • Processing incoming gifts for projects such as Nevelson Chapel Capital Campaign, Saint Peter’s Capital Campaign, Saint Peter’s Stewardship Campaign.
  • Entry to database (Blackbaud), maintaining donor records
  • Entry to internal tracking spreadsheets
  • Digital filing of donor acknowledgements and correspondence
  • Providing weekly report on gifts received, noting needed next steps for high profile donors
  • Producing gift acknowledgment letters

 

Desired Experience:

  • Familiarity with CRM databases, Blackbaud strongly preferred
  • Fluency with Microsoft, Google office, Dropbox
  • Two years’ experience with fundraising or nonprofit administration
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • English, required. Facility in Spanish a benefit.

  • Is currently or has been previously a member of the Saint Peter’s Church congregation or staff

 

Compensation: $20/hour
