Responsibilities of the Housing Developer
Provide leadership and carry out strategic directions for the agency’s affordable housing plan
Develop affordable housing for low and moderate-income individuals and families
Create and coordinate project development teams
Provide fiscal oversight of housing development projects
Maintain effective relationships with funding sources, identify new funding resources
Work collaboratively with community partners to prevent homelessness and carry out the agency’s Mission
Provide oversight of projects at various housing units and buildings
Work closely with the facilities management team to manage projects through the completion stage
Provide supervision of Property Manager who oversees daily operations of affordable apartments in Middlesex and Warren Counties.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of housing policies and funding resources at the State and Federal levels
Strong communication, writing, financial management, and organizational skills
Demonstrates ability to exercise sound judgment
Management experience
