About the position
Grace Church School seeks a talented visual art teacher and passionate artist to serve as a full-time studio arts teacher for middle and high school students.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Designing and teaching lessons of studio art classes for multiple grades of students, giving them developmentally appropriate skills and experiences with different media.
- Creating displays of student work that exhibit their creative efforts and that reflect the tone, values, and character of the school.
- Teaching drawing classes in the High School
Ideal candidates should have experience with ceramics and the use of a kiln.
Other responsibilities may include lunch duty, study hall, tutorials, and other supervisory duties.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required.
