Responsibilities
The following are non-exhaustive responsibilities:
- Coordinate the Programs of the Department:
o Engage social issues across partnerships at the United Nations and in the Orthodox Christian Church
o Maintain partnerships, compliance, and build new relationships
o Organize events related to the work of the Department or support larger events of the Archdiocese
o Envision, organize and manage new projects and initiatives of the Department and collaborate with partners
o Continue and build upon existing initiatives at the United Nations and for the Archdiocese, as seen fit by the full Department
- Compile reports for:
o Ecumenical Patriarchate
o Department finances
o Archdiocesan Council Meetings
o Clergy-laity
o Ongoing activities
- Manage the Department’s communications including:
o Phone correspondence
o Written correspondence
o Email correspondence
o Monthly Newsletter
o Social Media
- Assist with:
o Office supplies
o Scheduling
o Special projects
o Processing finance requests
o Keeping an organized archive of all documents, correspondence, activities, etc.
Requirements
- 5+ experience in general event management, project management and administration
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- An undergraduate degree from a four-year accredited college or university
- Applicants with a graduate degree will be given preference, though a graduate degree is not required
- Basic knowledge of Orthodox Christian theology
- Basic knowledge of the Orthodox Church’s structure
- Intermediate to Expert level in word & data processing (especially Word and Excel/ Google Docs and Sheets)
- Basic to Intermediate level in Graphic Design
- Basic to Intermediate level in Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
- Preferred Experienced with Zoom meetings and Zoom webinars
- Excellent Organizational and Communication Skills
- Process oriented, adheres to or creates processes
- Initiative-ability to manage time
- Demonstrates strong multi-tasking ability
Beneficial but not required Skills
- Basic video editing skills
- Conversational Greek
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Experience:
- project and event coodination: 5 years (Required)
- Adminstrative Support: 5 years (Preferred)
