JOB DESCRIPTION: Rectory/Church Housekeeper
Reports to: The Office Manager.
Classification: Part -Time (12 to 15 hours per week)
Maintains the priests’ rooms and the guest rooms on the second, third and fourth floors
Cleans and vacuums floors, carpets and stairways in the rectory
Cleans all bathrooms and empties bathroom trash in the rectory and church
Dusts everywhere that needs dusting
Launders and irons church linen
Cleans and organizes altar servers’ robes
Launders bedding and towels and the personal laundry of the priests as needed
Places fresh linens on beds once a week as needed
Requests maintenance and household supplies be ordered when necessary
Empties trash in priests’ rooms
Cleans / dusts choir loft
Cleans room of reconciliation
