The Associate Director of Missions will be in charge of implementing the Wholistic Impact strategy at a local level. They will be expected to build relationships with existing Local Partners, providing consultation and networking, and create/support channels for volunteer opportunities. They will also be responsible for vetting any new Local Partners as we become aware of them.
The Associate Director of Missions will be in charge of overseeing local initiatives such as Mobilize and Fill the Sleigh as directed by Central Leadership.
Role & Responsibilities
Build relationships with existing Local Partners:
1. Provide consultation and networking
2. Work with partner to establish Volunteer Opportunities 3. Regular in-person meetings with partners (at least once every 6 months) 4. Seek opportunities for partner care
Participate in vetting new partners according to the Wholistic Impact partnership standards Maintain awareness of Local Partner activities and provide insight during Budget Allocation meetings Invest in volunteer inspiration on a quarterly basis through video trainings and communications Work with Campus Pastors on how to specifically implement the Wholistic Impact Strategy for their campus Coordinate and participate in trip and event trainings Oversee local initiatives (such as Mobilize or Fill the Sleigh) as directed by Central Leadership
Qualifications
Must have at least 2 years experience working with a non-profit organization or applicable department at a church Must have at least 4 years of experience in a leadership capacity Must be capable of managing projects and initiatives with large groups of participants
