GENERAL OVERVIEW

As a member of the retail team at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship, you will be a part of creating for our customers a welcoming environment by providing legendary customer service with prompt service, quality beverages and products. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and comfortable environment within our overall ministry purpose. This will also include, but is not limited to, cash register processing, customer assistance, inventory management, stocking, serving and leading volunteer staff, overall organization, cleaning and sanitary standards as well as other duties as assigned.

Part-time, 5-15 hours per week. Cafe is open during these hours.

  • Sun services: 7:30am-1:30pm
  • Tues/Weds: 5-8pm
  • Special Events and Holidays during services: Christmas Eve, Easter, Mothers Day

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Café Services / Customer Service

  • Delivers legendary customer service to all customers and staff members by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with the customer. Discovers and responds to customer needs, which at times requires associate to assist our guest in more broad needs from the church.
  • Follows operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all staff during each shift. Maintains a clean and organized workspace so that staff and volunteers can locate resources and product as needed.
  • Provides quality beverages and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products
  • Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues.
