We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Creative Director of Photography to lead the visual storytelling efforts of our church. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing photography and videography projects that support the mission and values of the church, and for managing a team of photographers and videographers. Ensuring that all visual content is of high quality and is consistent with the church's brand and messaging. This will involve working closely with the church leadership and other departments to understand their needs and goals, and then developing a creative vision and strategy for capturing and sharing the church's message through visual media. Other responsibilities will include managing budgets, equipment, and schedules, as well as staying current with industry trends and best practices in photography and videography. In addition, this role will also serve as the video director for live services, overseeing video broadcast equipment, and associated responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop a creative vision and strategy for capturing and sharing the church's message through visual media
Work closely with church leadership and other departments to understand their needs and goals
Manage a team of photographers and videographers
Ensure that all visual content is of high quality and is consistent with the church's brand and messaging
Manage budgets, equipment, and schedules
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in photography and videography
Filming and editing creative elements, social media shorts, stories, messages, music videos, training courses, etc to continue to build our Online Campus. Working with team on distribution ideas to reach a larger audience and build engagement with them
Capture broll of events, services and mission trips for website, social media content and recap videos. Responsible for finding volunteers or PH staff members for a given shot list if not available.
Acting as the video director for live services, overseeing video broadcast equipment, and associated responsibilities.
Performing hands-on work and providing oversight in several areas as needed for weekend services, including IMAG for services and development of live video team.
Collaborating with the Worship and Tech Director to create visually engaging camera captures.
Being available and flexible to assist with extension campuses as directed.
Overseeing Live Video Camera Team and helping to train camera technicians.
Understanding video patching and being able to troubleshoot and problem-solve.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Photography, videography, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in photography or videography
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent creative and visual storytelling abilities
Strong knowledge of photography and videography techniques and equipment
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong organizational and project management skills
Passion for the mission and values of the church
Strong technical knowledge of filming, editing, and live video production techniques.
Experience working with audio/video equipment and live video broadcast equipment.
Able to commit to the core values and belief of Pure Heart Church and reflect those values throughout the scope of work.
Personal Qualifications:
Regularly attending church services while showing an active and ongoing relationship with Christ.
Team player who is teachable and has a desire to always improve.

Schedule: 20 hours per week, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Additional hours will be allocated to weekend services, capturing footage, editing, and other assignments as assigned by the Pure Heart Ministry Team. The schedule may vary to accommodate live service and event coverage.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
