Description:
Saint Paul Roman Catholic Parish is looking for a Full Time Custodian with Maintenance experience. Current hours are 6am – 2:30pm Thursday through Monday. Pay will match experience level.
Duties include but not limited to the following:
Keeping church, classrooms and banquet hall clean and ready to use.
Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms regularly – spot-clean as needed.
Setting up chairs and tables for events large and small.
Keeping track of tools and supplies.
Keeping closets organized and uncluttered.
Stripping and waxing floors.
General custodial support around campus.
Light maintenance duties include:
Changing light bulbs.
Replacing AC filters.
Changing water faucets.
Light electrical and plumbing.
The ideal candidate for this job is someone who:
Can check everything off their to-do list without supervision.
Sees a problem and looks for a solution.
Finds litter on the ground and puts it in the trash.
Notices something could be done better and makes suggestions.
Has a valid AZ driver’s license, dependable transportation, and able to comply with the Diocese of Phoenix Safe Environment Training.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years experience in custodian work.
Knowledge of light Maintenance is a plus.
Must have a valid AZ driver’s license, dependable transportation.
