Diocese of Phoenix Catholic Cemeteries and Funeral Homes is seeking experienced Family Service Counselors for St. Francis Catholic Cemetery. As a ministry of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Phoenix, this position is primarily responsible for meeting with families in the primarily Catholic community to share the benefits of securing their final resting place at their time of need and preparing for future funeral services.
Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, have a strong background in sales, previous cemetery experience is highly preferred. Must adhere to a high standard of ethics, morality, and confidentiality at all time; ability to demonstrate a high level of professionalism when interacting with people of varying backgrounds; be familiar with and be able to subscribe to Catholic principles and teachings. Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a highly preferred. Preference will be given to candidates that hold an Arizona Funeral Preneed Insurance License that is in good standing.
Minimum Qualifications: Must possess a valid Arizona driver’s license with an insurable driving record; be over the age of 21, ability to work occasional evenings and weekends; Practicing Roman Catholic in good standing is highly preferred.
This is an hourly and commission-based position. Upon successful completion of a 90-day training period, counselors are eligible to participate in medical, life, dental and 403b plan benefits.
