This position is a full-time position that will serve a general case load providing individual, couples, and group counseling services to a diverse student body presenting with personal,career, and mental health concerns at the Creighton University Health Sciences Campus in Phoenix. This position will serve as resource for academic presenting problems and will be a referral agent to other campus resources for academic difficulties. The position will also provide crisis assessment and intervention, consultation, and outreach programming. Other responsibilities include maintaining electronic documentation of services, participating in committee work, sharing in weekly staff training, working on multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining relevant professional credentials. The person must be able to work autonomouslyyet collaboratively. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required. This position works with, and is supervised by, the Staff Psychologist on the Phoenix campus and reports to the Senior Director of the Student Counseling Services on the Creighton University Omaha campus.

Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Counseling or Psychology. Licensure (or eligible) as a Licensed Professional
Counselor in Arizona.
Three years’ post-degree experience in mental health setting.
Previous experience working in a college setting or with college-aged or professional school-aged students is preferred.
Knowledge of psychotherapy and counseling psychology practices.

Student Counseling Services requires the ability to conceptualize a broad range of clinical issues from a multicultural and social justice perspective. Diversity is recognized and honored among all Counseling Services staff.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and basic computer skills are required.
Ability to interact and work with various campus and community resources and partners.
Strong presentation and facilitation skills with an ability to develop and deliver outreach and educational programming to various audiences.
Understanding of relevant confidentiality issues.

Required Licenses/Certifications:
Licensed Professional Counselor in Arizona and maintenance of state license by meeting all
regulatory requirements
