Paradise Valley United Methodist Church Preschool Hiring Preschool Director.
The Preschool Director is responsible for providing a nurturing, developmentally appropriate environment where (1) children learn through play, (2) staff are focused on the children and the organizational objectives, (3) the preschool and church have a symbiotic relationship, and (4) families are engaged in the process of preschool education.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 5-7 years of teacher and staff management experience in children's education, 10+ years preferred.
3+ years of experience developing and implementing fiscal budgets within an educational setting.
BA required, Master's degree preferred (minimum of 36 credits in early childhood education, child development, elementary education, or early childhood special education preferred).
Willingness to attain 9 higher education credits in business and program administration or obtain a state-issued principal credential.
Preference will be given to applicants with administrative experience in an educational setting.
Willingness to obtain CPR certification, fingerprint clearance, and a negative TB test.
