We currently have positions available for a Two Year Old Lead Teacher and Assistant Teacher, a Motor Perception Teacher and an Office Assistant/Secretary.

Lead Teacher applicants should have a CDA, Associate's Degree with an Early Childhood Certificate or a Bachelor or Master's Degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education. Applicants should also have at least two years of experience in a licensed childcare center and be familiar with the National Association for the Education of Young Children's Accreditation process.

Assistant Teacher applicants should have experiences in a preschool setting and six months of academic background/college work in early childhood or elementary education.

Motor Perception Teacher applicants should have physical education/motor perception education experience/background working with young children or are working on a Physical Education Degree.

Office Assistant/Secretary applicants must be proficient using Work and Excel computer programs, have office experience, be able to multi-task and be personable and organized.

The ideal applicant has targeted professional goals to advance as a practitioner in the field of Early Childhood Education.

Paradise Valley United Methodist Church Preschool has been accredited since 1986 by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs and recently received reaccreditation for the ninth time in December of 2019.

All applicants need to be 18 years of age and have a High School Diploma or GED. PVUMC is an EOE.
