Job Summary: Support all FLC staff. Develop, administer, and facilitate all sport programs, camps and leagues for youth and adults. Assist FLC members and the general public in recreational activities. Organize and communicate with sports volunteer staff. Help FLC staff facilitate, host, and act as liaison for sporting events taking place in the FLC.

Work Performed:

  • Present a professional attitude.
  • Support the church staff and mission statement as a devoted team member of NPHX.
  • Respond in a timely and professional manner to all forms of communication from staff of NPHX, the Director of the FLC, and of the FLC.
  • Respond in a timely and professional manner to all forms of communication from people participating or seeking information about all FLC sports programs.
  • Complete all tasks, request and duties assigned by the FLC Director.
  • Efficiently communicate with coaches, volunteers, and participants in all FLC sports programs in a timely manner.
  • Work and communicate closely with the Director of the FLC and Assistant Director of FLC in all areas of promoting, scheduling, and executing all sports leagues, camps and programs.
  • Create and update calendars for all sport-oriented events taking place in and sponsored by the FLC.
  • Work with the Communication, Maintenance, Properties, Technology, Creative and Production departments of NPHX Church to create, maintain and promote all FLC Sports programing.
  • Create mailers, advertisements, registrations, posters, banners, flyers, merchandise, digital communication and website information for all FLC Sports programing.
  • Recruit and train volunteer staff, interns and paid staff involved with all FLC sports programs.
  • Develop new sports programs, camps and leagues for all ages.
  • Manage and oversee the handling of all money transactions from sports ministry activities.
  • Must comply with all policies, procedures and guidelines detailed in the NPHX Employee Handbook including the Statement of Faith and Code of Conduct.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Needs to possess knowledge and experience in the field of Sports. Also needs communication skills, follow through, serving attitude, be a regular attendee of NPHX Church, customer service experience, and understanding of computer systems. Must have good conflict resolution and problem solving skills, long term planning ability, and administration skills. Must have a willingness to work flexible hours including a variety of shifts. Must have the ability to pass a drug test and prove legal status to work in the United States.
