Position Summary:

The Video Marketing Specialist creates promotional video materials for Central and its respective ministries to create interest and marketing ministries within Central.

Substantial support is given to external marketing purposes and creation while maintaining ongoing internal marketing support.

This position is connected to the faith and ministry of the Church and moves forward the vision of the Central Christian Church.

Responsibilities:

Ø Produce and direct short films, ministry promos, message illustrations, and communications videos on a daily/weekly basis for use for internal and external marketing purposes.

Ø Conceptualize, shoot, and edit creative content.

Ø Collaborate with the other marketing team members to meet all event, publicity, and advertising deadlines.

o, Develop and execute social media visuals to serve marketing strategy and campaigns.

o, Develop new videos, shorts, etc., for social channels aligned with the overall digital strategy.

o Schedule video team presence at Tier 1 events for promotional and recap videos for weekend service and social media.

Ø Research current media to keep up with the latest video trends.

Ø Manage general downloading, uploading, and converting videos for web use.

Ø Support Central ministries by meeting with team leads, brainstorming, and building an effective video marketing strategy as necessary. Ø Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:

Ø Minimum required software experience: Advanced knowledge of Premiere (highly preferred) and or Davinci Resolve.

Ø Highly beneficial (but not required) software knowledge: basic understanding of After Effects, Audition, Media Encoder, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Descript. Competencies:

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear.

The employee must occasionally lift or move up to fifty pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
