About this Event

Grove Women

Mark 16:1 (NLT) “Saturday evening, when the Sabbath ended, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome went out and purchased burial spices so they could anoint Jesus’ body.”

That first Silent Saturday the women were in preparation to gather together at the tomb Sunday morning. They had no idea what God had planned for Sunday morning but without expectation of anything miraculous they were faithfully preparing Saturday.

Mark 16:2-4,6a (NLT) “Very early on Sunday morning, just at sunrise, they went to the tomb. On the way they were asking each other, ‘Who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance to the tomb?’ But as they arrived, they looked up and saw that the stone, which was very large, had already been rolled aside….but the angel said, ‘Don’t be alarmed. You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead!'”

In 2023, we know Jesus has risen and is alive, but we don’t know what miraculous works God has in store for our church this Easter. Let’s walk in faith like those women and come together in preparation for Sunday morning to pray over our church.

This is an open invite so grab your friends to experience this together and maybe even grab coffee afterwards
