Major Responsibilities
1. Organize meetings for youth to be performed simultaneously with Arabic ministry service. Includes developing sermons/talks/bible studies each week and activities for the Sunday youth program.
2. Organize youth events or retreats to foster spiritual growth and fellowship.
3. Recruit and manage volunteers for implementation of programs as needed.
4. Provide mentorship and spiritual guidance to youth.
5. Coordinate with parents and youth group members to facilitate children and families’ involvement in the church programs.
Working Relationships
1. Reports directly to the head of the Arabic Ministry.
2. Relates as a colleague to church staff to ensure team- oriented staff relations.
3. Collaborates with Arabic ministry leadership and student leadership to facilitate programming.
Qualifications
1. Strong biblical understanding and faith with the ability to speak on these topics with youth.
2. Leadership skills as a mentor for youth as well as in program management.
3. Experience with youth in previous contexts, such as camps, youth retreats or meetings, or mentorship positions.
4. Understanding of Arabic culture and the ability to consider students’ multicultural backgrounds when conducting program activities.
5. Ability to communicate with youth and adult teams.
Requirements
1. Work up to 15 hours per week including Sundays, evenings and weekends

Pay: $18.00 per hour
