Christ Lutheran Church and School in La Mesa, CA is a great place to work! We have a fun, energetic staff, awesome students, and loving congregation, and we want you to join our team! We are looking for an individual to work in our music ministry assisting the Director of Worship and Music, with our church and school worship services and multiple music groups: praise band, choir, and handbells.
This creative individual would have a passion for music, contagious energy, and a love for connecting youth and adults to Jesus. We are looking for experience and skill with singing, leading worship, and guitar or piano (guitar preferred). Experience with hand bells or sound engineering is a plus.
This position will start part-time. After a period, this position may lead to full-time as we expand our music ministry. We believe in playing to our staff's strengths and "sweet spot", so specific duties will be assigned based on assessment of abilities and interests.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.50 per hour
