The Audio-Visual Technician at Palisades Presbyterian Church works with the Praise Band Leader, Music Director, and Worship Commission to set up and operate sanctuary audio and visual equipment and ensure it is used to maximum advantage during regularly scheduled worship, special services and rehearsals, as they arise.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and sanctuary sound system, screens, and cameras to coordinate proper operation.
- Place equipment as necessary for optimal sound and video function.
- Operate and maintain audio and video equipment for all worship services, rehearsals, and special services.
- Ensure hearing enhancement devices are operational and linked to the sanctuary sound system.
- Operate and oversee the visual aids for worship (to include screens) for worship services and special services.
- Ensure all audio and visual equipment is properly shut down after each use and that all equipment is put away.
- Train and encourage volunteers to assist with AV system operation and ensure continuity of service during absences.
- Help create an easy use of A/V equipment for outdoor events.
- Assemble and edit weekly worship videos and post for streaming.
- Update written manual for equipment operation including specifications for regular worship leaders.
- Report needed equipment repairs.
- The Audio-Visual Technician is a key-holder for facilities and must demonstrate capacity to reliably secure church facilities.
- Attend called staff meetings.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

- Associate (Preferred)
Experience:
- AV: 4 years (Preferred)
