Position Summary —
We are seeking a patient, attentive child care provider to care for children ages 2-8 during worship service on Sunday mornings. The child care leader will lead age- appropriate activities and ensure the children are socializing in a positive way and are in a safe, engaging, and clean environment. The child care leader will be assisted by an adult church volunteer.
Reports to —
The Pastor
Hours —
Part-time - 2 hours per week – 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Sundays. Any additional hours are to be scheduled with and approved by the supervisor.
Qualifications —
a} Must have patience and stamina to chase after, lift, and carry children
b} Must be able to pass background check
c} Must have proof of negative TB test
d} Must be attentive to the needs and safety of the children
e} Must have proof of COVID19 vaccinations
Essential Duties and Responsibilities —
a} Provide care for children ages 2-8
b} Encourage age-appropriate learning and socialization
c} Ensure children are learning positive behaviors
d} Communicate with parents regarding child’s development
