Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide strategic planning and visioning for children and family ministry.
- Research and evaluate processes and programming that best support the ministry.
- Select or develop appropriate curricula & resources for programming.
- Recruit, manage, motivate, and equip volunteers.
- Collaborate with other areas of ministry to design or deliver programming.
- Work with the staff team to plan seasonal events for children, families, and the church community.
- Efficiently communicate with the church community via announcements and social media.
- Pursue relational ministry connections inside and outside the walls of the church.
While a degree in Christian education, education, or a similar discipline is preferred, relevant hands-on experience in similar positions may be substituted for a degree.
Candidates must successfully pass a background check. This is a part-time position, requiring 10-20 hours a week, which includes Sunday mornings.
Compensation based on experience, negotiable during the interview process.
