Position Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Early Education, to assist in providing a Christ-centered educational program for pupils; to assist in other school programs and activities as part of the professional responsibilities; to perform other adjunct duties as assigned; to do other related work as required, all to the Glory of God.

Duties and Responsibilities

Assist Director of Early Education

Represent when Director is not in the office.

Implement administrative regulations and procedures as defined in the Parent & Student Handbook.

Assist in hiring of new staff.

Assist in the development and refinement of policies.

Assist in the development and refinement of classroom procedures.

Overall team management.

Consistent and clear communication with families.

Consistent and clear communication with staff.

Knowledge and adherence to licensing requirements.

Assist in classroom placement.

Manage staff files.

Assist in in-service planning and training.

Assist Director of Admissions

Respond to inquiries

Make your appointments for Director and Assistant Director.

Manage Applications.

Add students/prospective students to various databases and software.

It is maintained and collects all licensing forms for students.

Check immunization compliance and enter into various databases and software.

Work cohesively with the Director of Admissions & Registrar and the Assistant Director.

Meet weekly with the Director of Admissions & Registrar and the Assistant Director.

Update all enrollment changes to the Director of Admissions & Registrar and the Assistant Director.

Assist in Office

Maintains professional appearance at all times.

Answer phones.

Performs essential attendance records using RenWeb, textbook and materials counting, and other business services as required.

Serve as first contact nurse.

Greet guests and enrolled families daily.

Communicate with parents on student needs.

Greet tours upon arrival.

Facilitate event planning and work inside of planning center.

Field facility requests.

Administer and keep records of student medication.

Facilitate all daily lunch service disbursement.

Assist Teachers

Support teachers with classroom and behavioral management strategies through hands-on interaction.

Train new hires.

Assist in curriculum enrichment and program development.

It is a maintained and updated staff manual.

Review the handbook with staff and address policy concerns as they arise.

Assist and prepare whatever is necessary for monthly lead meetings.

Review teacher newsletters.

Progress report assistance and RenWeb support.

Assist Program

Models a consistent daily walk with Jesus Christ and desires to do all things to the Glory of God.

Maintained schedules for programs and events.

Oversee classroom aesthetic maintenance, and communicate needs appropriately.

All reporting on RenWeb.

Lead staff care schedule and maintenance.

Maintained substitute roster and led substitute training.

Liaison with room mom coordinator and all communications.

Maintain checklists for back-to-school ad end-of-year classroom check-out.

Participates and is on time for devotions, staff meetings, all school parent nights, The Living Nativity, Harvest Festival, Open Houses, and all other required school events.

Desirable Qualifications:

Job Standards and Requirements

Education:

Possession of a Baccalaureate or higher degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.

12 ECE units are preferred.

Experience:

Early Education (Preschool) experience is required.

Administrative experience is preferred.

Credential:

Childcare licensing units completed and current.

Supervision Received

Reports to the Director of Early Education

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
