PRIMARY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• Prepare weekly lessons, videos, schedules, worship, crafts, activities and any supplies needed (or hand off supplies needed to Curriculum Prep and Administration Coordinator) for Wednesday Nights and Sunday mornings.

• Lead morning meetings with leaders before service on Wednesday Nights and Sunday mornings, checking in, going over the plan for the day and praying as a team.

• Ensure safe check-in/out procedures based on GPC and KidsPoint’s current practices.
• Ensure safety at all times in the environment.
• Oversee leaders and make sure they are living out GPC and KidsPoint current practices.
• Ensure safe leader-to-kid ratios.
• Set up and tear down classroom(s) as needed on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings.
• Send weekly emails to teams including curriculum, pertinent announcements, and scheduling.
• Send weekly emails to parents for events and other announcements.
• Manage volunteers’ schedules.
• In collaboration with the Children's Ministry Director and Assistant Directors, recruit/invite people to become volunteers as needed.
• Teach or teach other leaders to teach.
• Maintain positive parent communications after services or events.

• Keep classrooms clean and organized and let Curriculum Prep and Administration

Coordinator know of purchases needed or make purchases directly.

• Maintain the budget with the help of the Children’s Ministry Director.
• Attend monthly staff meetings.
• Help provide a summer camp.
• Lead VBS leadership team for 5th & 6th grade ministry.
• Put on a Friday night event once a month.
• Help put on annual training alongside the KidsPoint Ministry Staff team.
• Help put on major Kids’ Events such as: Fall Festival, Christmas events, Easter events,

VBS, etc.

• Attend conferences or trainings as necessary.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• This job requires some standing and walking around.
• This job requires some lifting around 20 lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• While working this job, the Co-Directors may be exposed to outside weather conditions.
• Environments can be loud and over-stimulating at times.

HOURS

Sundays: 5 hours
Wednesday Evenings: 3.5 hours
Friday once a month: 5 hours
Other Hours: 2-4 hrs
Weekly Hours on average: 15-17

TIME OFF
Allowed 5 Sundays off a year upon approval by the Children’s Ministry Director
Holidays off have to be approved by the Children’s Ministry Director

PAY

$20 /hr
