We are searching for the Kids Pastor for our Newbreak Tierrasanta Campus. This is the largest and original campus for Newbreak Church. Tierrasanta is in the suburbs of San Diego and is filled with military families.

Job Title and Overview: The Kids Pastor (“KP”) is a member of the Campus Ministry team and as such, supports and advances efforts to effectively care for and create discipleship opportunities for the children and families at their campus.
The KP implements various policies and strategies under the direction of the Campus Pastor and Campus Director as well as guidance from NB-wide policies and procedures. This position includes program development and team building as well as reaching out
to the family unit through discipleship, relationship, guidance and support. In this capacity, the KP will also regularly collaborate with the other campus family ministry teams to ensure systems, practices and policies are aligned.

Essential Job Duties: The KP maintains operational and administrative responsibility for the needs of the campus Kids Ministry. In this capacity, the KP will:
• Maintain and execute a safe and welcoming church experience for all children and families.
• Build volunteer teams by recruiting, interviewing, vetting and training individuals to serve in various Kids ministry roles to cover all Kids ministry service and event needs.
• Develop and implement methods of appreciation for team members and leaders. Commit to regular relational check-ins.
• Maintain proficiency in use of Orange curriculum. Responsible for ongoing coaching, development and encouragement of team leaders and members regarding the Kids weekend experience for kids and families.
• Maintain clean, safe, organized and welcoming Kids rooms.
• Be responsible for implementation of all Family ministry policies and procedures as well as training all team members and leaders on said policies and procedures.
• Be responsible for maintaining and communicating emergency plans to staff and team members. Supply all rooms with appropriate safety and first aid equipment.
• Be proficient in scheduling, assimilation and care procedures, specifically using Planning Center Online for all service flow plan, curriculum information, database needs and communications.
• Maintain regular attendance at weekend services, mid-week programs, NB Kids special events and camps, as well as, additional NB Church events as scheduled.
