Our Student Ministry Purpose Statement:
To create a ministry community where students can be encouraged and equipped as we seek to help them establish their identity in Christ and love others.
Primary Ministry Responsibilities:
Encourage and equip students to grow toward maturity (spiritually, emotionally, and socially), connect with mentors who are able to provide support, and reach out to other students inviting them be part of our ministry.
Recruit and train ministry partners for involvement in our student ministry
Manage the staff and volunteers involved in our High School and Junior High ministries.
Provide regular communication (weekly emails) with parents regarding the ministry and be available to meet with parents as needed
Provide weekly Sunday morning services which include worship and teaching
Provide weekly small groups for our students
Provide weekly afternoon hang out time for students that are available
Provide regular fun events (twice a month)
Provide quarterly overnight opportunities for community and development
Provide annual camp opportunities
Provide care for students by praying for them, attending student events and offering counsel and support when needed
Along with the above responsibilities, we encourage involvement in the fellowship of GPC including attending Sunday services and small group ministry

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
