Video Producer/Operator (Part-time) San Carlos United Methodist Church is currently seeking a part-time Video Producer/Operator (VPO) who will be responsible for operating/producing the livestream video feed for 8:30 and 10:00 am Sunday services, concerts, and special services. The Sunday morning schedule is 7:30 am to 11:30 am Sundays. Pay is $18 to $21 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Primary Duties:
Responsible for all aspects of filming, recording, production, and equipment operation and maintenance using our 4-camera system and other associated equipment.
Films and produces livestream recording of live Sunday services
Records and produces occasional pre-recorded video segments
Works closely with the Director of Music and Senior Minister regarding camera work for Sunday morning productions, concerts, etc.
Position requires occasional lifting (up to 50 pounds.) Experience & Qualifications:
2+ years of work experience in live video operations, production and broadcast in a multi-camera environment
Significant experience with Blackmagic Design ATEM Television Studio Pro HD (or other broadcast switchers) and Hyperdeck Studio Mini (or other disk recorders)
Skilled in directing, shooting and editing video
An artistic and creative approach to camera shots
Dependable, organized, meticulous
Flexible approach to changing priorities and conditions
Knowledge of lighting, sound, and video editing preferred
Ability to resolve issues under pressure
